Three inmates started a riot at the Alcaidía 13 in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Núñez, and so far, no fugitives or injuries have been reported. The incident took place amid a new scandal regarding escapes in the city.

According to sources reported to the Agencia Noticias Argentinas, personnel from Rapid Intervention Deployment (DIR) and City Firefighters went to Cuba Street 3100 because three inmates caused an "incident inside the cell." After several minutes of operation, it was announced that the "situation was controlled after establishing an external security perimeter around the police station."

Additionally, an alert was generated after detecting a chat session among several inmates from different detention centers where they were "organizing a type of riot." An emergency search was requested under the assumption that they possessed cell phones.

On the same day, six detainees from Police Station 3A in Balvanera escaped via the rooftops, and so far, only one of the fugitives has been recaptured.
